We welcome applications from Light Vehicle Mechanics to General Mechanics looking for a stable, long-term opportunity within a professional workshop environment. This full-time role involves working across a diverse fleet including plant equipment, trucks and light vehicles. You will play a key role in maintaining fleet reliability, safety and operational efficiency. This position suits mechanics looking for variety, stability and long-term employment within a professional and supportive environment. Tasks & Responsibilities Service, diagnose and repair trucks, plant and light vehicles Conduct scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs Fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems Perform inspections and preventative maintenance Maintain service records and documentation Ensure compliance with WHS and safety procedures Liaise with workshop and site teams Skills & Experience Essential Trade-qualified Mechanic (Diesel, Light Vehicle or equivalent) Experience working on vehicles, trucks, plant or equipment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and within a team Strong attention to detail and safety focus Highly Regarded Experience in civil, transport or plant environments HR licence or additional tickets Salary & Benefits $75,000 - $100,000 super (depending on experience) Full-time permanent role Modern workshop and varied work Stable employment with long-term opportunity * Supportive team environment About the company The employer is a well-established construction and plant services business operating across the ACT, supporting civil and infrastructure projects with a diverse fleet of equipment.
